Mike and Val James - Mike and Val have performed together nationally for over twenty years. This album, along with their first jazz release, Back To Back, reflects their interest in the era of jazz standards. When not singing jazz, these vocalists, guitarists, and composers can be heard on a variety of albums that feature originals, maritime, folk, and songs for kids. They currently live in Port Townsend. Pete Toyne - Pete is a guitarist, pianist, vocalist, and composer. He has played extensively throughout the northwest and is currently a Port Townsend resident and musical mainstay. He has performed with Herb Ellis, Charlie Byrd, and Howard Roberts, to name a few. Don’t ever throw him a straight line!
Ted Enderle - Ted is originally from Philadelphia. He has played coast to coast with such jazz luminaries as Larry McKenna, Tony Bennett, Grover Washington, Jr., Art Foxall, Hadley Caliman, and Steve Lawrence and Edie Gorme. One of this area’s busiest musicians, he currently lives on Bainbridge Island.
Tim Sheffel - Tim is originally from the San Francisco area. He performed with the Kent Glenn Quintet and other west coast jazz notables such as, Mel Martin, Bob Maize, Tom Harrell, and Bill Douglass. A regular in the northwest musical scene, he currently lives in Port Townsend.
Mark Cole was the owner of the Upstage Theater and Restaurant in Port Townsend. Many thanks to him for his support of music and the arts in our community.
